Welcome! The School Town of Highland has chosen MealTime Online to provide the opportunity for you to make credit card deposits into your student's cafeteria account or view your student's purchase history via the internet.
To Use MealTime Online:
Visit your school or school district web site at www.highland.k12.in.us. Find the link to online payments in the upper right hand task bar which will take you to MealTime Online.
Or go directly to: www.mymealtime.com
Step 1: Create a MealTime Online parent account. Click on the "Create new account" link and enter a Username and Password that you will use to login to MealTime Online. The Username and Password must beat least 6 characters. For example, Username: jsmith Password: pty845.
Step 2: Add your student. Login to your MealTime Online account (using the Username and
Password that you created in Step 1), clicks on the "Add New Student" link, and add your student by entering their first name and student ID number. Please call any of the numbers below if you need a student ID number.
Step 3: Make a Deposit. Click on the "Make Deposit" link to make a deposit into a school account. There is a transaction fee for making deposits.
Click on the "View Details" link next to your student's name to view their cafeteria account balance and purchase history.
Online Deposits are processed each morning at 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and will be automatically reflected in your student’s account at that time.
Deposits made after 10:00 a.m. will be processed
the following morning.

MEAL CHARGING GUIDELINES
Any students, grades K-5, will be allowed to charge the cost of three meals (breakfast and lunch each counting as a meal) if funds are not available in their meal account. Charging will only be allowed for a complete reimbursable meal; no Ala Carte items can be charged. (Extra milk and snacks are considered Ala Carte item.)
After the limit of three meals is reached, an alternate meal of a cheese sandwich and milk will be given to the student. Weekly low balance reminders will be distributed to the K-5 students. It is the student’s responsibility to be aware of their fund balance. Parents may sign up for Low Balance e-mail notification by going to www.mymealtime.com and opt in to receive notification.
No charging will be allowed at the High School or Middle School
Charging of full meals will be discontinued May 1st, each year. Parents should clear any negative balances by the end of the school year.
All charges will be recorded in the point of sale system. When a deposit is made into the student’s account all charges will be satisfied first and the remainder of the deposit will be posted to the student’s account for their use.
We encourage any family to fill out a Meal Assistance Application which are available at each school campus, the Administration Officer and the School Town of Highland website
or can be mailed to you from our Student Nutrition Office; contact Sherry Norris at 219-922-5646 ext. 7240.
Low Balance Notification
Any parent, guardian or staff member with an established profile on MealTime Online (www.mymealtime.com), may opt in to receive an email notification – automatically – whenever their account, or their student’s account, reaches a pre-determined “low balance” level set by the account holder. The notification will prompt them to login and update the specified account balance using their Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card. It’s fast. It’s automatic. It’s free!
MEALTIME ONLINE IS A GREAT WAY TO TRACK YOUR STUDENTS ACCOUNTS, MAKE PAYMENTS, MONITOR THE LUNCH ACCOUNT TO SEE WHAT YOUR STUDENT IS EATING AND NOW YOU CAN RECEIVE A NOTIFICATION WHEN YOUR STUDENTS ACCOUNT IS AT A LOW BALANCE.
